Clinton - Big Spender!!
Candidates' Earmarks Worth Millions Of Front-Runners, McCain By Paul Kane Washington Post Staff Writer Thursday, February 14, 2008; Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton helped secure more than $340 million worth of home-state projects in last year's spending bills, placing her among the top 10 Senate recipients of what are commonly known as earmarks, according to a new study by a nonpartisan budget watchdog group. Working with her New York colleagues in nearly every case, Clinton supported almost four times as much spending on earmarked projects as her rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.), whose $91 million total placed him in the bottom quarter of senators who seek earmarks, the study showed.
Hi all!
We used to love Hillary, then
Per the Toronto Globe and Mail, in a story that was the lead on the paper's front page today, that call to the Canadian embassy was actually from the Clinton campaign, not Obama's!
Her website stated "SHE IS FOR LEGALIZING IMMIGRANTS"! She also wanted to give NY drivers licenses to all illegal immigrants. SO, IF YOU WANT THIS COUNTRY TAKEN OVER BY ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS - VOTE FOR HILLARY. Here are her stances in these issues:
Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton has a Development, Relief and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act"
Clinton, Hagel, Menendez Introduce Measure to Remove Barriers to Reunification for Immigrant Families
Senator Clinton Calls for Quicker Action on Citizenship Applications
Clinton Calls for an Emergency Halt to Deportation of Haitian Immigrants
Obama - HELP!
The Democratic Party must be democratic. The superdelegates should let the voters decide between Clinton and Obama; write your Senator, Congressman, and anyone else involved in this process to tell them to "PLEASE support the people's choice", not political maneuvering or bias!
Why has Obama received so many less superdelegates than Clinton? Shouldn't the voters decide this? Yet the Primary election results, for 2 states in particular, are:
NY State primaries: Vote: Clinton - 57%, Obama - 40% Superdelegates: Clinton - 41, Obama - 1
California primaries: Vote: Clinton - 52%, Obama - 42% Superdelegates: Clinton - 27, Obama - 13
Doesn't this seem skewed?
The superdelegates should let the voters decide between Clinton and Obama, PLEASE help support the people's choice.
Wow, I remain surprised with how many people say, "well nothing could be as bad as George Bush" so let's just make more bad decisions. In this post I'm not suggesting that George Bush has handled the economy well. My point is that Hillary wants us to look at all her great "experience" and when we do we find she's among the worst managers of money in Washington. Obama has a significantly better track record in that record.
jdshr says:
"nobody in the history of the united states has spent more and run up more debt than george "the moron" bush jr. since mccain seems determined to continue the cheney policies of the last 8 years, i would trust the budget more in the hands of a democrat."

Both Dems have a much stronger economic philosophy that better suits our current situation then their rival, McCain. 7 years of war and tax cuts hasn't helped the economy and middle america at all, why would another 4 prove to be any better? Government spending is not a bad thing, it helps create jobs, and helps fund many needed social programs like health and education.
