Confused on Joe's stances
My coworker asked me this morning, "So what do you think of Joe Biden (as a candidate)?"I told her I didn't know anything about him, and immediately pulled up his wikipedia page and his PoliticalBase page.
But after reviewing his stances on the issues, I'm a bit confused.

Does he actually support the legalization of drugs, with the exception of use of marijuana for medicinal reasons? That, to me, seems contradictory.
He's also against the separation of church and state?

They certainly are not a single issue. One can support the legalization of marijuana as a recommended, medicinal drug, but not support it for recreational use. You couldn't really, rationally, support legalizing all drugs for recreational use, but not allow one specific drug to be used for medicinal purpose.
Furthermore, the legalization of drugs would include other, more "hard core" drugs as well.
This issue is also separate from the "war on drugs." One might oppose the waste of money that is the war on drugs, but not support their legalization.
They are three related issues, but very much individual
I filled in all of the candidates positions on all of the issues before the site launched using these guidelines. Users may have edited Biden's issue page since then. We are now requiring users to submit evidence in the text field when they want to edit an issue page. So please, feel free!
