Mike Huckabee does not have foreign policy experience. but most Governors do not. Huckabee is advocating pulling out of the United Nations, and severing our ties with our "eternal friends" Saudi Arabia. Huckabee cannot win a northen state, that is why he will not win the nomination. If he does win the nomination he will need a strong running mate like Mitt Romney.

Huckabee cannot win any state (besides Iowa) in the north. His evangelical background will help him in the Southern states. With Thompson withdrawing from the race it is now a three person race between McCain, Romney and Huckabee. I am a Huckabee supporter and I do not know how foreign leaders will treat Huckabee.

Huckabee seems just like Bush to me. I don't think anything would change if he was president. And likely foreign leaders will have this view too.

Also I think it's a little silly to think that in a war on terror you can be secure while having poor relations with the rest of the world. war on terror is a battle of psychology and ideas, it depends on the US giving a good impression to the world.
