With Obama getting tagged as too liberal, I believe the party will ask him to select a moderate to be with him on the ticket. They want to try to appeal to Republican districts where the party doesn't normally do well with a consensus building Obama and a moderate with strong family values. There are a few alternatives in the field.

I agree. Right now my next hope if for Bill Richardson (who actually has a chance.) But that would be my personal dream ticket. Clinton-Obama would work but not Obama-Clinton. It's not that I think Obama would make a bad president but that Hillary Clinton would make a bad vice-president.
