Political Base's Community Bill of Rights

Political Base aims to provide a place where civil discourse on politics can thrive. We hope that your participation will not only be personally satisfying, but that it will enrich the community for others as well. To accomplish this goal, we have established a Political Base Community "Bill of Rights":

1. Freedom of Speech: Political Base is a non-partisan political community, where all sides have equal opportunity to voice their opinions on any subject relevant to politics. However, we will not allow pornography, vulgarity, harassment, or threatening behavior from anyone. So, please be respectful of yourself and others, or your comments will be moderated out. Without exception, our decision on moderating out posts containing pornography, vulgarity, harassment, or threatening behavior is final.

2. Freedom of the Press: We grant you access to reprint, republish or reuse any content you or other members contribute to the site, provided you provide attribution to the Political Base community. We reserve all rights to our registered trademarks and copyrights. All of our content is provided under the Creative Commons' Attribution-Noncommercial 3.0 Unported License.

3. Respect for Intellectual Property: We expect our community to respect the intellectual property rights of writers, photographers, videographers and graphic artists. Please do not copy, upload or embed content that you do not have rights to distribute in part or in whole. If you do have the right to redistribute or share intellectual property, please do your best to provide attribution for the source of this content.

4. Freedom of Assembly: Any political, religious or social group has the right to create its own forum, provided that this group does not participate in activities that would violate our Freedom of Speech policy.

5. The Right to Petition: Each member of the community has the right to petition for changes to the site or campaign for new features by creating a forum topic in the "General Discussion" category. Although we will consider all suggestions, we cannot guarantee that suggestions for changes will be implemented on the site. Each member has the right to dispute a moderated post or blog by emailing us at moderation@politicalbase.com.
