Why is this an issue?

It blows my mind that this is an issue. If there is ever an amendment like this passed, then that would be the ultimate desecration. If there is ever an amendment like this passed, the first thing I'll do is burn a flag.

Um... you give no indication as to which issue you are talking about. My best guess is something to do with flag burning, but I have no idea if you are for or against it, or even what aspect of it you're talking about.

 

Edit: I see now that this was in regards to the "Constitutional Ban on Flag Desecration"
Obviously the Base guys need to make that more apparent.

Issues like these are a lot easier for politicians to deal with than decisions that involve cutting benefits or raising taxes.
