Apple is a technology company centered around the Macintosh family of computers, the iPod/iTunes music distribution and music device system and the iPhone.

Apple is a technology company based in Cupertino, California, which develops consumer electronics and software. Founded in 1977 by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak with the primary purpose of developing computers, it has produced the Macintosh line of computers since 1984, various generations of iPod portable music players since 2001, the iPhone since 2007 and various hardware and software products.
