Considered the most conservative in the Senate, "The Benator" to Bush, Nelson won his Nebraska Senate seat in 2000. He has a pro-life, pro-Bush tax cuts, anti-stem cell ideology. Though, in terms of the Iraq War and the environment, he's a Democrat.
Lindsey Graham (R)
Ranking Member
After serving in the US Air Force from 1982-88 and again as a JAG during the Gulf War, Graham won a seat in the House for South Carolina's 3rd District in 1994. A conservative elected in 2002 to the Senate, he's often broken from party in McCain style.
