Bruce E. Tulloch's Biography

He is the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Supervisors and serves on the Board's Finance/Government Services, Economic Development, Human Services, and Public Safety Committees. He also represents the Board of Supervisors on the Loudoun County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board, the Economic Development Commission, and co-chairs the Board of Supervisors/School Board Joint Committee.

He represents Loudoun County as a commissioner on the Northern Virginia Regional Commission (NVRC) and also serves the NVRC on the Legislative, Communications, and Nominations Executive Committees. He serves on the Route 28 Transportation Commission Improvement District, recently completing a term as Chairman, and sits on the Board of the Dulles Area Transportation Association.

He was unanimously elected by all the planning districts in Virginia as the first vice-chairman of the Virginia Association of Planning District Commissions (VAPDC) for the 2005-2006 session. He has also been unanimously chosen to become president of the VAPDC for the 2006-2007 session.

A native of Northern Virginia, Tulloch is an executive area general manager with Sodexho Inc. He served as president of the CountrySide Proprietary for five years and was a founding member of the Republican Business Roundtable for Loudoun County. He was also the founding member and past president of the Loudoun County Home Owners Association Coalition.

He and his wife have two children and live in CountrySide.
