Professor Fowler's research interests include electoral politics, political participation, formal theory, computational modeling, experimental economics, twin studies, and social networks. His articles appear in Nature, New England Journal of Medicine, Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, American Journal of Political Science, American Journal of Sociology, Journal of Politics, Journal of Conflict Resolution, Political Analysis, Journal of Theoretical Politics, Political Behavior, and Social Networks.
