Co-sponsor: To amend the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 to establish a procedure for authorizing certain acquisitions of foreign intelligence, and for other purposes. Defense of Marriage Act strongly supports The Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) provides that no State shall be required to give effect to a law of any other State with respect to a same-sex "marriage." Also, it defines the words "marriage" and "spouse" for purposes of Federal law.
