Tucker Carlson is a rival of Jon Stewart Tucker Carlson hosts the MSNBC show Tucker, and is the former co-host of the Spin Room and Crossfire. On October 15, 2004, Stewart appeared on Crossfire. Wikipedia currently summarizes the appearance this way: Stewart criticized the state of television journalism and pleaded with the show’s hosts to 'stop hurting America,' and referred to both Carlson and co-host Paul Begala as 'partisan hacks.'
