Bush Tax Cuts

Rush is a strong proponent of Reaganomics. Rush contends that government revenues rise when it taxes less, allowing Americans to keep a greater portion of their income. He has confronted a belief that this economic philosophy is a giveaway to the wealthiest citizens by publicizing that the wealthiest Americans pay more in taxes than lower income earners.
Impeachment of George W. Bush
strongly against
Rush says this effort is payback time for what the Republican's did to Bill Clinton. He also thinks that liberals are so blinded by their hatred for Pres. Bush as to make them irrational.
Stem Cell Research

Rush supports and points out the success of adult stem cell research.
Welfare Programs

Recently, Rush reported on an article detailing the wealth possessed by some Americans that the Census Bureau defines as "poor." The article, published by the Heritage Foundation on 27 Aug 2007, showed many or most own a house, car, television, microwave, etc. He argued that no one should feel entitled to tax others to ensure themselves a certain standard of living.
Privatization of Social Security
strongly supports
Full or partial privatization of social security would divert revenue to private accounts. S.S. would instead be owned and managed by workers who would pay less payroll taxes.
Affirmative Action
strongly against
Affirmative action refers to policies intended to promote access to education or employment aimed at a historically socio-politically non-dominant group, typically minorities and women.
Assault Weapons Ban
strongly against
The Federal Assault Weapons Ban (AWB) provision was signed into law in 1994. The 10 year ban, expiring in 2004, is currently undergoing an inspection of effectiveness and a reinstitution bill in the House of Representatives.
