John Kerry gave the best speech of his life this evening. Hillary Clinton did the same. Michelle Obama gave her best last night, and the best one from Ted Kennedy in a long time. I'm sure this trend continues with Montana's governor and maybe Warner (not sure on this one). Bill Clinton, ah Bill Clinton... GOD DAMNIT! I love Bill Clinton! Michael Moore is great at identifying problems and things that need fixing, he's also great at bringing these problems to people's attention. He is, however, TERRIBLE at prescribing solutions and always goes way too extreme in his presentation and suggestions. Also a film maker writing an article in Rolling Stone IS NOT the same as advising a campaign.

We still have the best freedom of speech laws in the World. Also our economic freedom should not be so casually thrown to the side, it allows for a lot of expression and freedom to do things. Also we are better about surveillance and intruding into personal lives than some European countries (though not all of them). For example there is nowhere in London you can go without being video taped, wire-tapping illegally is bad but at least it's not 24/7 surveillance. Let us not become engrossed with the shortcomings of America because we will stop trying to make things better and start just complaining about what isn't right. We need to be proud of what is good in this country while addressing what is wrong. Also JTW if you really believe the Patriot Act has not infringed on our civil liberties you have absolutely no idea what the bill allows for and how far reaching it's provisions are. I try to avoid such bold declarations about people's positions but you're simply wrong if you think that.

I think the debates are going to be even more important than usual this year. If Obama slam dunks these debates I think it'll be over for McCain. People want to see more of Obama and hear more from him about his ideas, debates can help people to learn about such things.

I agree show McCain's temper, keep it issue based and not personal, make McCain look like he doesn't know what he's talking about (not incredibly difficult to do) and get him PO'ed and raving mad.

I don't know why anyone else would have my number, it's a damn good hoax and I'll give whoever masterminded it a tip of the hat. I just know what this text says. I was sitting in an empty office building making phone calls for my candidate and now I'm sitting in an empty office building flipping out about this. I hope this is a joke? I can't really think straight about it right now until I know if this is real or not. I am definately not trying to pull anyone's leg though someone may be trying to pull mine.
