Engaging political leaders on iChat
I thought this was worth sharing. It's a collection of iChat video conversations with political leaders (among others) on different issues: http://www.generationengage.org/videoplayer/videos.html
I've got a few too, all of these are with Safari 2.0.4 on the Mac:
Bugs:
- JavaScript errors result in Blog form not showing in Safari 2.0.4.
- Primary summary page contains centered text: http://www.politicalbase.com/elections/iowa-primary/889/
- Latest Updates sidebar on a persons summary page (All Updates vs. Friends Only) seem to have the reverse effect.
Suggestions:
- Add formatting guide and/or link to the formatting guide on the forums.
- I would consider top aligning images in carousels. It's much easier for your eye to scan and would create a cleaner look. Ideally the images would be all the same size and smaller.
- More left padding on the main text of most content pages (A candidates summary, etc).
- Add Website entry for Representatives (campaign website, etc) and users (personal website, blog).
