FUGB-as always, a lib attacks the poster not the issue. Please, please, please, tell me what Obama stands for. Please don't say "change" unless you back it up with something. True, we have a huge deficit. Wars are not cheap...in lives or money, especially in lives (God bless our troops) Unfortunately, your boy, Obama, would have you believe that the way to prosperity is through the government. It IS NOT!!! It never has been or will be. We have the best healthcare system in the world...socialized medicine will do nothing but give us a substandard health system. Don't believe me...go to Russia...you would refuse treatment there. There are no other alternative energy sources, YET. If we pour money into it maybe we can find one. But not doing something we the resources we have available to us right now is foolish. Guess what, if there is money to be made in a new energy source, the oil companies, as well as a lot of entrepreneurs will find a way to make it happen (i love capitalism). We drill now, we reduce our independence on foreign oil, NOW. The government has been and always will be the worst "business model" ever. Bigger government never works. Taking on big corporations just because they are big and "evil" will destroy the economy. The capitalistic system works because big corps (and small businesses) create jobs, which help keep other jobs. It's the circle of life if you will. Big government will kill the circle of life. Your boy Obama would have you believe you deserve prosperity...you nor I do not. Fortunately we don't get what we deserve...thanks to God's grace. What we deserve is a government that protects us from harm no matter what. And to Mr. Nicolas's assinine comment that 9/11 doesn't matter in this election...it should and it does. Bin Laden, Al Quaida, and the islamic terrorists will seek ways to destroy the greatest nation every. They're already doing it by having some beleive the threat is not real. Being an ostrich is no way to live life.

Now, just so you don't think I'm not compassionate. If you want to help others then do as I and my family do...go out and help someone out of the goodness of your heart. You'll feel better and maybe you'll help create a "pay it forward" society...which is infinetly better than a government run society. The government was created to provide security...not prosperity.

So I'll take the trillion dollar debt if it means security. There are many government programs that can be cut. There are many earmarks that can be left out of bills (and yes the republicans are just as guilty). But don't take away my security...even if we have to go somewhere to protect it.

And by the way, the comment about all republicans being child molesters is just about as assinine as saying all democrats are bold face liers (see Billy Boy).
