And the difference from heterosexuals is?
As a lesbian, I am baffled by those who think that recognizing my union will diminish theirs. I don't care about "marriage" because that's religious crap and I'm an atheist anyway. But I do deserve the same rights and privileges as any straight couple. Gay civil unions will someday be recognized...I just hope it happens in my lifetime.
McCain will win this election and here's why...the dems are completely fractured. The Hillary supporters won't vote for Barack if he wins the nomination and the Barack supporters won't vote for Hillary if she wins. I have heard both camps say they will vote for McCain if their candidate doesn't win and I believe this is true. This battle has been so bitter and contentious neither camp will give.
Ferraro Remarks on Obama Decried
I'm glad that somebody brought up Jackson and Sharpton- they are the "usual" examples of black candidates and of course, they would never have made it as far as Obama. They are more open than Obama about their disdain for whites and ally themselves with radical groups like the new black panthers. Remember that comment Joe Biden made about Obama being so "clean and articulate"? Like it or not, Obama is the first major black candidate to fall into this category and the liberals are going ga-ga over him. Finally, somebody electable, sort of. Since there's no dearth of clean, articulate white candidates, his race does put Obama at an advantage. I know you'll all descend upon me like vultures for saying it, but you know it's true.
Oprah will swing the female vote Barack's way
While both Oprah and Obama are cult leaders, Oprah has actually angered a lot of women for her support of Obama. She urged Hillary to run for this election and then bailed as soon as her "brotha" came on board. Lots of women (at least the over thirty group) feel nothing but betrayal. They won't vote for Barack.
Ron Paul as Vice President For Barack Obama
The two are diametrically opposed. Obama is supposedly pro-choice, Paul is not. Obama loves illegal immigrants, Paul does not. Bizarre suggestion.
Barack: The Choice of a New Generation
I definitely agree that he's the candidate of a new generation...a really stupid, new generation. How come he can vote for Iraq war funding and get away unscathed by the media when he says he's anti-war, and none of you people question a thing? How can you really believe that he's going to unite all people when the democratic party is hopelessly fractured? What he says he will do is impossible and you are like blind, kool-aid sipping sheep who fall for his every word because he's rock star cool. Pathetic.
