Any one endorsement a presidential candidate receives is really just more media hype then being actually significant to voters, but there is something that needs to be said about this.

John McCain Democrat/Liberal Endorsements (17)

    * Former Obama, Edwards, and Clinton speechwriter Wendy Button.
    * Author and columnist Orson Scott Card supported Barack Obama during the primary season, but had become a McCain supporter by September of 2008.
    * Former Democratic majority leader of the Rhode Island Senate (pre 1992), David Carlin
    * Former U.S. Ambassador, Mark W. Erwin.
    * Formerly Democratic[21] member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Brenda Ferland.
    * Former Mayor of Tampa, Florida, Dick A. Greco.
    * Former Mayor of Phoenix, Arizona (1990-94), Paul Johnson
    * Member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives, Doreen Howard.
