I am a political junkie who is sadly displaced from my long-time home of Washington, D.C.
I am a teacher, writer and a mother with a M.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in political science. I am deeply disturbed by the last eight years of the Bush administration, and feel strongly that the media has failed us in their coverage of the administration and the war. I do not think American citizens clearly understand what has happened to the U.S. over the last eight years: the refusal to address environmental issues, the corrupt and ideological decision to go to war, the tramping on the Constitution, and the complete disintegration of the separation between church and state.
