I never really understood the death penalty. The resources it takes to put someone to death far outweigh those needed to keep someone in prison for life, and very few people manage to escape from prison. So logically, capital punishment makes very little sense. Then there are a seemingly endless amount of moral arguments that could be made against the practice. It's stupid and barbaric tbqh.
