Last night The Tonight Show, tonight Barack Obama is on the Tavis Smiley Show.

Barack Obama on Tavis Smiley show 10/18/2007

Seen on Twitter a couple hours ago:

In Nevada today and excited to be on the Tavis Smiley Show tonight on PBS. Check your listings for what time it airs locally.

Barack is getting around this week. With all the Ellen Degeneres dog stuff happening it would have been a good week for one of the candidates to be on there.

Barack Obama will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno tonight:

Barack Obama on the Tonight Show

Our family, by choice, gave up TV over a year ago so we'll only be able to catch it after the fact. I'm hoping that Jay Leno actually asks Barack Obama some tough questions and doesn't just yuck it up with a bunch of softball questions. A better interviewer for all the candidates would be Howard Stern on Sirius but I doubt he'll get any of the candidates. Maybe Ron Paul is the only one I could see being willing to go on Stern's show. Stern might be raunchy but he's one of the best interviewers I've ever heard and that includes Larry King (another known softball lobber).

In order to make informed choices in elections we need to know the answers to the tough questions.

On the homepage of Political Base in the right sidebar the contributions to electoral votes comparison is interesting. Still a long ways to go, but check this out.

Political Base contribution breakdown as of Sunday 10/14/2007: 381 D vs. 157 R

Might as well mention I'm really enjoying the layout of this site. Great interaction feature, well designed. Kudos to the dev team.
