Another BIG win in a another BIG state for Hillary

Hillary has proven again that she knows how to win where it matters. Her major victory in PA kept her very much alive much to the dismay of the DNC. It also brings up the valid point of can Obama win the states it takes to win the General election. He does have more wins, but with much smaller states, a lot of which are red states.

Hillary also closed the gap on the popular vote, closing in to 1.7 percent. This is where Florida and Michigan matter. Had the Democratic National Committee not penalized the voters of those states the numbers would be as follows:

With FL- gap closed to 0.6 percent

With FL & MI- Hillary leads by 0.3 percent (estimated)

Now we know Michigan is hard to count because Obama was off the ticket, but considering the demographics of the state, it is likely the outcome would have been comparible to the results of Ohio and Pennsylvania. As far as Florida goes, everyone was on the ballot and thus it was a level playing field. But sorry folks you wasted your time standing in line to vote for your candidate.

What does the Rasmussen poll say about Florida?

McCain 44% McCain 53%

Clinton 45% Obama 38%

Wonder if these numbers have anything to do with the fact that the state overwhelmingly voted for Clinton but yet it didn’t matter. The DNC knows full well that we have to win Florida in the General. This is not an Obama bash, but there are numbers that show as much as 20 percent of Clinton Supporters will not vote for Obama. I believe this would be a differnet scenario had the disenfranchisment of nearly 10 percent of the the Democratic voters not taken place. If Obama would recieve the nomination without this fiasco, the 20 percent or so Clinton supporters would rally behind Obama. He needs these votes.

And to think this all could have been avoided.

Just my two pennies
