Is it just because she's losing? Maybe. I generally root for losers.

It could also have to do with the fact that Obama is treated like he's a new special breed of non-politician when really he's just a (drumroll please) politician. When he's had a career as long and storied as Hillary's, lets see how good he looks.

Its partly because I really do think gender was used against her. I was raised in a very feminist family and the result of this was to leave me equally skeptical on feminism; its current institutions look just like every other sneaky lobby out there to me. But sexism still exists and it seems obvious in how Clinton has been portrayed compared to everyone else. When she was sensitive she was made out to be weak; when she was tough she was made out to be a ball-buster. Talk about the reinvention of the double-standard. I don't blame it solely on the press either; there are plenty of democrats bloggers and posters guilty of this as well.

But really I think it comes down to this. When I see Hillary fighting to the very end I am reminded of how Gore and Kerry's "civility" and "grace" subjected us to eight years of George Bush. They were too over looking like ungentlemanly spoil-sports to demand a fair and legal election. Thanks a lot guys.

Obama reminds me of this every time he talks. Unlike Hillary, he seems like he would rather protect his image than be the scrappy underdog. Remember scrappy underdogs don't usually win--instead they lose and end up looking like a cur instead. I had a more choice word in mind, but I don't want to offend anyone. Clinton hasn't always come out of every fight smelling like roses, but her conviction impresses me much more than Obama's. It seems he believes his own hype and I'm not sure he'll be able to stay on his feet when that rug gets pulled out from underneath him.

Wow. I fit a lot of clichés in that paragraph. And I meant every one.

I have no doubt we're in for another round of vote tampering. They got away with stealing two elections in a row and were able to install new fraud-friendly voting legislation in between. Why would they stop now?

I call upon both Clinton and Obama to pledge not to cede the race until every doubt, every question, every suspicion, every recount has been seen through. The last thing we need is another Democrat graceful giving the election to a cheater.

So how about it Obama? Clinton? Fighting till the end doesn't mean until you win a nomination. It means fighting until the will of the people at the has been done.

I'm of the opinion that there is a lot weak spots in the fabric of America and they are proliferating rapidly. When I blog you'll be sure to see me point of a lot of specific issues. Just this once I'll try to keep it abolutely simple: All of our problems are either cause or at least sustained by an American penchant for B.S. I hope the abbreviation is acceptable; I could substitute "dishonestly" but B.S. is really a more apt description.

Leaders in every capacity and their subordinates beneath them are almost all guilty of frequently flexing the limits of what is right and covering it up with a mutually understood lie. Just admit, you do it, I've done it, everyone does. Anyone who didn't could be discribed as radically honest by comparison; I'm trying, but its really hard. I often can't say anything because nothing useful to say is true. The very ubiqity of our lies is ultimately the problem. They cover hundreds of problems which hurt all of us, even those who think they are well off, even rich and powerful. But we all believe we are dependant on them for one reason or another.

But there is an alternative. I suggest trying to be more honest in actions and word every week. This is how I quit smoking, a little less ever week. Upon writing this I declare my determination to become unusually honest by giving up every ordinary way I am dishonest a little bit every week. I can confidently say only a handful of people anywhere couldn't stand to do the same. Let's see McCain or Obama or Hilary do that. Lets see every capitalist, boss, and beaucrat try just being more honest every week. How long can you keep it up?
