So, I clicked on the Issues link at the top of the screen there...and wouldn't you know it? The first issue was slavery...so, not really knowing what to expect, I clicked on slavery.

Immediately I was prompted for my position on slavery. Do I support it? Really? How crazy...hard to believe the question still needs to be asked.

Sooooo, is it possible to be a free market, non-populist democrat? Ever? Now?

Is it possible to be a non-zealot, socially liberal republican? Ever? Now?

Why is the south so important?

Why are so many states either bankrupt or about to become bankrupt?

I think the next big conservative movement should be called psuedo-cons...unless that's already happened.

Would that I had the wherewithal to blog intelligently without made up words and half-assed attempts at intelligence and coherency. But, by the grace of god and the red-spell-check-line, perhaps I can muddle through.

But, what to blog about? Husseins? Sexism? Machismo foreign policy? Kurdish/Somali Sovereignty? Biofuel's impact on my newly discovered frozen empanadas? I like that last one...

Why are we subsidizing corn ethanol? It makes no sense. And it makes my food more expensive. Boooooooooooooooooo.
