Economy not Values

First of all I must say that Jeanette is completely off base about "marriage". If you want to strengthen families then actively seek to lower the divorce rate in this country. Allow GLBT couples to strengthen their own relationships by allowing civil unions and support their wanting to adopt children. I sincerely doubt the fact that if I marry my partner, the family next door will fall to pieces. Come on, get real.

Secondly I don't see your detailed plan for brining jobs to the 18th district. The airports you mention don't traffic heavy commerce. How do the placement of highways create incentive for companies to move into the district? Are you seeking to make off-highway fast-food restaurants and gas stations the staple of economy? And while small business is great and should be supported your focus should instead be on 21st century tech, like innovative alternative energy firms or advanced computer technology manufacturers not Beth's bead outlet.

Until you get down to earth and find new and innovative ways to help struggling people middle class people, like my parents, who reside in the 18th you you don't have a chance.

Dailey for Congress

Zack Space will do and has done more in Congress than Fred Dailey could ever even conceive. Zack Space represents the ever-changing, youthful, energetic, hard-working face of today's congress. I grew up in Mount Vernon and even had Fred's wife Rita as my English teacher. The woman was neurotic and consumed with her daughter's wedding, often ignoring the needs and concerns of the teenagers she was supposed to teach. Also, Since when did serving as the Director of the Department of Agriculture position someone for a legislative seat in the United State House of Representatives? Fred's ideas will keep the 18th district down and out, not improve it. Keep the old guys with narrow minds and antiquated ideas OUT of congress... http://www.zackspace.org/, http://www.barackobama.org/
