The whole matter is boiled down to the fact that it did take JFK, a non-violence leader among the blacks like MLK, and LBJ to finally get all of it in motion. Nothing that serious and long-standing happens overnight. I do not find Hillary's comment to be cynical but to hit more the target than her oppenent. This country is in a mess and we need a leader that has the experience and determination to speak out even when what is said may be percieved to be bias. Hey, she is a woman and the fight for women's rights has been on-going for almost a decade! She still has had the strongest and best platform from the begining addressing issues, serious issues, with solutions.
