High School Election Favors Obama

So today, I helped facilitate a student election at the high school I teach at.... Channel Islands H.S. Oxnard, CA. As a staunch supporter (and landslide hopeful) for Senator Obama, I thought our students 'might' favor him. I was pleasantly surprised (ok, dumb-founded actually) at the results.

1,746 votes for Obama 120 for McCain 20 for Nader 5 for Steven Colbert and 1 for Mickey Mouse

Let's all now pray that the rest of the nation is as wise and hopeful as the Raiders from CIHS!!!!
