Well im interested in politics in general and even though i live in england i think that taking interest in US politics is somewhat vital as it will affect the whole world next year!

16 year old guy who's going to sixth form in a town in England, not much else i can say really, casual interest in US politics (I wish there was a UK version of this site - it's awesome!). Feel free to contact me, it's always nice to hear from a stranger :).

It seems to me that most teenagers in the UK just don't really care about what the current political atmosphere is... I talked to some people in my school and very few of them expressed any interest in US politics let alone English politics, (maybe I should have asked the people who took up politics as a subject). But I don't think this is true for the rest of the country, I think after a certain age everyone seems to get interested in politics, in this country anyway. I have no idea of the voting figures but i would certainly suspect them to be high.
i think after what's happeneed in the last decade most people can't afford to ignore what's going on, teenagers may be a part of the population that don't follow this trend.
Anyway, I'm not sure what I was hoping to accomplish in writing this but whatever, i don't care ;)
